Version 12
  1. General Information
    The Avira Small Business Edition Version 12 has been released on August 22nd, 2014.

  2. Improvements
    This version of the Avira Exchange Security – Small Business Security Suite has been enhanced with quite a number of improvements and is the next step towards the goal of providing an easy to use mail security solution for Exchange that fits the needs of all businesses.
    • Spam filter
      Starting with this version an improved spam filter technology will be used.

    • Blacklist/Whitelist
      Both Blacklist and Whitelist can be configured directly in the spam module.

    • Quarantine
      The virus and spam quarantines have been merged. Additionally the Whitelist and Blacklist has been implemented directly in the quarantine. The quarantine content may furthermore be filtered by the keywords All fields, From, To, and Subject.

    • AntiVirus
      The AntiVirus Wizard offers the possibility to define how certain e-mail attachments should be treated, such as PDFs, encrypted or executable files, images, etc. Therefore, activate the desired type via a checkbox. In addition, you can determine which action should be carried out with the e-mail or the e-mail attachment and how the notification of the action should take place.
