I just started using Avira Free Antivirus for Windows and it immediately detected a trojan horse pattern in an executable that I use constantly. I feel fairly certain this is a false positive. I tried to upload the file in question using the Avira program, that operation failed. I then tried to submit the file over the website, which has now been "processing request" for an hour! The amount of time I've spent on this questionable "detection" today is about 3 hours. I'm afraid I will have to find another way to protect my computer if this type of behavior on the part of the program and the website continue.

Avira always put many files to the quarantine, despite of the setting is "interactive". Doesnt ask anything just put the files to quarantine.
TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen Date discovered Oct 8, 2015 said the homepage, but the avira put many old files away by this reason, like the Farcry language pack. That file was born about 2002. Couldnt be infected. Most of virus scanner found it safe. Why cant avira ask before do anything when I set the interactive mode?!?! вся база , (список базы вирусов обновляется в режиме реального времени) первый вирус не опознан, хотя это и есть вирус троян, + список баз с вирусами
